On arrival in Minaki you will stay on the main road until you see an old train station on your left, (this is also The Blue Heron Gift Shop) DO NOT CROSS THE TRACKS, just past this on your right hand side down the hill you will see the Minaki Marina. Go down to Minaki Marina and you can use the pay phone to call us at 224-4301 or ask someone there to call us and advise them you are Bayview Lodge Guests and also give them your party name. We or they will give you directions to our boat launch and we will be there within ten minutes to help you unload, park and bring you across the river to your cabin, this is only a 1 minute boat ride.

From Ft.Francis, ON (International Falls, MN)

Clear Canadian Customs at Fort Frances, Ontario.
Drive west on Highway 11 to Highway 71. Travel north on 71 to the Trans-Canada highway 17, then west on 17 to 17A.
Turn north on Highway 596 (Minaki turnoff), 25 miles of paved Highway to Minaki.
